DARIC is a complete tourism payment platform, carefully designed for tourists who want to visit Iran. Using DARIC you can get an Iranian payment card issued by an authorized Iranian bank, and use this card at every POS or ATM device in Iran. You can also use your DARIC credentials to easily purchase your travel services online. DARIC simplifies payments for you.
Yes, if you are at least 18 years old and live in one of the countries supported by DARIC. We are working hard to make DARIC available in all countries
All you need to do is to provide us with your name, email address, residence country and mobile phone number. After verifying your phone number, you can log into your DARIC account.
After account creation you can log in to your account, reserve specific travel services and start completing your profile. Your profile should be completed before any financial transaction is completed or applications for Daric Cards are accepted.
For profile completion we need your identity info, address data, and the scan of your passport's first page. After data entry we need some time to process your information and then your profile will be verified. Once verified, you can perform financial transactions and apply for a Daric Card.
In our website, enter your phone number and select the "Forgot password" option. We send the password reset link to the email address you have provided during the account creation process. You can also contact our support team anytime and we would be glad to help you.
Contact our support team. Depending on the time past from your last trip, we tell you what to do and what documents to send us. Then we make it possible for you to load your account balance and apply for a new Daric Card.
Account balance top-up is possible through bank transfers. Select the top-up option in our app/website. You will then get our bank account info, as well as your specific reference number. Transfer the money to the provided bank account using your reference number, and we will load your account balance as soon as the money is transferred to our account. Note that we only accept payments sent by yourself.
Creating an account, applying for a Daric Card and using the card at POS and ATM locations are all free. We charge you by a little amount when you top-up your account balance. Any commissions for other services are shown to you and confirmed before being applied.
Yes. The sum of the account top-up values should always be less than 10,000 EUR. Any incoming money transfer violating this condition would not be accepted.
Yes. We exchange all incoming money to IRR and keep it in your name in a licensed, well-known Iranian bank. The bank guarantees the protection of your money according to the banking rules of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Your last three transactions are always shown to you in the bottom section of our app's landing page. You can also access your full transaction history simply by going to the "Transaction History" section of the app/website. We have designed various filters for your convenience.
All you need is to swipe the card, enter the amount in IRR (if it is not automatically entered) and then enter your PIN.
In Iran, it is usual if the salesman asks for the PIN. However, you can always ask them gently to let you enter the PIN yourself, and they will let you do so.
Yes, you receive a receipt. However, in most cases the receipt is in Persian. We constantly work on making English receipts more available.
SHETAB is an Iranian inter-banking network. All Iranian banks and PSPs are connected to SHETAB, which means the payment cards issued by any Iranian bank can be used at every POS or ATM throughout the country.
Daric Cards are debit cards issued by Iranian banks, with IRR currency and usable at every POS/ATM throughout the country. No matter which bank is the issuer of your card, you can use it wherever SHETAB logo is available.
Yes, if you are at least 18 years old and your documents (Passport copy and personal information) are verified by the Iranian issuing bank, you are eligible to receive a Daric Card for the duration of your visit in Iran.
You can apply for a Daric Card on the Daric app or website. For application you need to provide us with the photo of your passport, your address, and some extra information. You should also indicate how the card should be delivered to you.
You can easily receive your Daric Card upon your entry to Iran and by going to the branch of the issuer bank at the Imam Khomeini International Airport. Depending on your country of residence, we may also be able to post the card to you. In this case, your account will be charged to cover the delivery costs.
Your name, the card number, the expiry date of the card, the CVV2 code and the support information.
Currently, the Daric Cards issued for non-residents can not be used for online purchases. However, you can use your DARIC account credentials to purchase online wherever DARIC is accepted as a payment method. This mainly includes tourism-related service providers, such as hotels and airlines.
The card PIN can be changed using ATM devices of the issuer bank (Bank Tejarat). You can also go to the branches of the issuer bank and ask the clerk to do so for you.
No. After the payment is confirmed it is not possible to cancel it or ask for a refund. If you have any problems with your purchase, you have to ask the seller to consider your request first. You can also call our support team and ask for help.
If you have internet connection on your mobile phone, you'll be notified on your phone instantly. The notification includes necessary information such as the transaction date and time, the transaction volume in IRR and your home currency.
Keep calm, nobody can use your card without the PIN. Go to the card menu in DARIC app (or website) and block your card. You can also block your card by calling our support team or going to the branches of the issuer bank.
Yes. All you need is to go to the branches of the issuer bank and ask for it. Your old card will be blocked (if it is not blocked yet). Note that your card will have a new PIN, which will be delivered to you in the bank branch. There is also a small charge associated with issuing a replacement card.
During an online transaction, we may ask you to enter the CVV2 code of your card. This code is also needed when you want to block your card through the app (or the website) and when you want to transfer the remaining money to your bank account in the home country.
After the expiry date, the Daric Card becomes useless. You have to go to one of the branches of the issuer bank and request a replacement card, to have access to your money again
You can use your DARIC credentials for online purchase of specific travel services, prior to entry to Iran or during your stay. All you need is your username and password. In some cases we may ask for your card's CVV2 code for confirmation.
If the service supports reservation option, we inform you and you can book the service and pay at a later time. We are working hard to make the reservation option available for more services.
For specific travel services we provide you with the reservation option, which enables you to book the services and pay for them at a later time. Using this option the service will be booked in your name and you will have a specific timeframe (usually two weeks) to complete the payment and finalize the booking. Reservation is availble for specific services. We are working with our partners to enable this option for more services.
You can use your card to withdraw cash from any ATM device in Iran. All you need is to enter your card, enter the PIN and follow the instructions shown on the screen.
Yes. All ATM devices in Iran support English language and if you select it, the receipt will be in English also.
Yes. You can withdraw 2,000,000 IRR (approximately 50 Euros) per day.
